Haha.......I don't believe I've had the pleasure of icicles forming inside my nostils before Melinda. That would make an interesting macro shot wouldn't it? I'd LOVE to come and play in the snow one day.........so I will continue to steem on and hope the steem/steam doesn't melt the snow. (lol)

I looked to see if I had a picture of Jim with icicles hanging from his beard. I've seen it happen but must not have ever taken any pictures! That's when you know it is cold! image

Wow........that looks cold. I find it hard to imagine that amount of snow falling right outside my house. having to clear it to get to work or to the shops is obviously the down side of heavy snowfall, but I assume a machine like the one Jim is using sure beats using a shovel. Thank you for sharing this image of Jim with me Melinda. Enjoy your weekend my friend.

It is pretty darn cold tonight, - 8c and I can see ice forming on the river. We don't have any snow on the ground, though. It was - 28c on the day I took that photo of Jim with the snow blower. The wind was howling and he had to come in frequently to unthaw. He loved that snow blower! His son bought it for him for a Christmas gift one year even though he insisted he didn't need one and was fine shoveling everything. After he got it he frequently said it was the best gift he ever got.

That is very interesting Melinda. I think perhaps the value of that blower for Jim, was probably the time saving aspect but also the fact that it was given to him by his son.
