Garden of the Monarch
I ought to plant some milkweed, which is what monarch butterflies consume. Each of these butterflies has a lifespan of six to eight months. I wonder how many generations this butterfly is from its ancestor in Mexico.
Perhaps someday, humans will migrate from one planet to another, across generations. Probably not. We lack the pan-generational sense of mission of these unyielding flutterers.
