Texas Wildflowers
Howdy folks! This time of year the Texas countryside is ablaze with
color so I thought I'd put up some of my favorite photos.
These tend to quiet my spirit and lend a peacefulness to the day.
Consider the lillies and wildflowers, how they grow. They neither labor nor spin; yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these.

like a flower of the field, so he flourishes. Psalm 103:15
Below are a field of Bluebonnets, the state flower of Texas. It's actually
against the law to destroy a Bluebonnet plant but you can pick them
unless they are along the side of a road and then you might have
a problem if you get caught picking them there.

Perfect verses to go with the photos.
They beauty is far beyond what I can express with words alone! I always believed that Texas always had a deserts landscape. Ii surely will be nice to take a walk and some nice shots in those colorful plains.
Howdy again sir joelsegovia! Well basically the Western third of the state is desert-like but the rest has a variety of geography including many woods and forests, lots of areas are large, flat crop fields and we have many large lakes and resort areas.
