At the end of December 2017 Aceh waspada flooded. Floods occurred due to heavy rain that results in overflowing river water.

The overflowing river water flows into the village and the high way until congestion occurs as water reaches the waist of an adult.

In some areas of Aceh Utara, residents have to evacuate because the water soak their homestay.
