Tribute to a Virtuoso: Tim Mitchell

A special thank you to my beautiful wife, Alina Aldobrando, who penned the words in this tribute and put my thoughts and emotions into something tangible to remember him by. Alina never had the opportunity to meet this great man, and wants to express it is important for younger generations to never miss an opportunity to spend time with the generations before them who hold irreplaceable wisdom.

It is emotional to draft these words here and reflect upon the various memories of times spent in the presence of this mans humble greatness. I will miss his signature greeting, "Hey buddy", his pipe, his knowledge of firearms and history...

It was an honor to know this man, to sit in his shop and watch him work or discuss various topics from current events to the flintlock era firearms. His passing is a tremendous loss to our community.
