I was so happy, I hadn't seen any downvotes for a week or so, and many of the revenge accounts seem to be effectively gone. We can thank our witnesses for responding big time on reducing the amount of abuse accounts.

Now that they are back, I almost wanted to send an innocent post to them to say, "Why are you still downvoting me? Is there something wrong with my post?"

As far as I know, I don't think they ever comment on any posts, because it protects their reputation by not having any posts that might suffer a backlash of revenge downvotes. That makes it hard to expect a response, or change their behavior, or become friendly if they are unwilling to communicate.

Personally I prefer the vocal trolls than the strong, silent types.
