Concentration Curls For Bicep Peak
Concentration is needed in every type of workout but concentration curls is done explicitly for biceps. It is one of the good exercise for building muscle. Doing biceps workout with barbell involves participation of most of the body parts like legs and shoulders when you do cheat reps. Now a days body building has evolved a lot and now you can do workout for each muscle of your body with concentrating on that muscle.
How to do Concentration Culs
If you want to do workout to make your bicep peak more visible than you should try concentration bicep curls. Simple way to do this workout is to sit on a flat bench like shown in the pic. Rest your one arm on your knee and grab a dumbbell in second arm. Keep one of your leg straight and put your arm with dumbbell on your leg with triceps attached to your leg now try to curl dumbbell without moving any other part of the body. Make sure that there is a little tilt in your back and only your forearm is involved in curling not your triceps muscle.
Alternative Way
In gym you can find a equipment specially made for curls like shown in below pic. You have to just place your triceps on this equipment and you have to lift the dumbbells just by your forearms.
You will extraordinary pump in your biceps and your peak will develop more rapidly as compared to by doing regular curls.
Nice write-up. I will say though it's important to change it up every once in a while. I when I started lifting I was doing almost exclusively concentration curls figuring that it was the most effective exercise. It worked for a bit but then I plateaued for a while. I didn't really break it until I switched it out for barbell curls for several weeks. Just make sure you are really putting the effort it to maintain correct form and not cheat when you do them.
