"When you're out there partying, horsing around, someone out there, at the same time, is working hard. Someone is getting smarter and someone is winning. Just remember that." Arnold Schwarzenegger

More people are joining simply because they've SEEN this blog series, and wish they saw it sooner. In the spirit of helping others be healthy and join a supportive team, please help us by resteeming for visibility.

Forget resolutions. You know that exercise is important, so start with just one day of sharing 100 reps and go from there. We support each other every day, and we'll support you, so why not give it a try?

These people are creating their own original posts to prove their hard work. Please support their dedication with encouragement!

TOTALS: 51,095 reps done across 13 Steemians in 37 workout days.

Cumulative Results: - #'s vary with different start dates
@rmsbodybuilding = 20,410 reps (39.9%) - 37/37 days (congrats on 20K reps!)
@thevillan = 10,456 reps (20.5%) - 17/37 (perfect attendance since starting + 10K reps!)
@myleskshupe = 4,987 reps (9.8%) - 13/37
@steemmatt = 4,240 reps (8.3%) - 37/37
@povilas = 3,901 reps (7.6%) - 21/37 (start a new streak)
@lordcarlo297 = 1,940 reps (3.8%) - 12/37 (gets the job done)
@xxlobo21xx = 1,454 reps (2.8%) - 6/37 (nice reps & blog posts!)
@ninjamike = 1,258 reps (2.5%) - 6/37 (always good effort)
@mightpossibly = 1,167 reps (2.3%) - 12/37 (next goal 2,000)
@cygon = 563 reps (1.1%) - 2/37
@bentheredonethat = 460 reps (0.9%) - 2/37
@xced2806 = 158 reps (0.3%) - 1/37
@dj123 = 101 reps (0.2%) - 1/37

The Challenge: At least 100 honest reps of exercise every day. No excuses. No bullsh*t. Just actions, positivity, and results. Only post AFTER your reps are done.

  • If you can't contribute yet, try to eat natural foods and stay well hydrated without the sugar for now.

  • It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100. You choose what exercises to do.

  • 30 minutes of dedicated brisk walking or running can count as 100 reps if you're unable to lift or need to rest.

  • Please also support these participants for their commitment to their physical and mental health. Thank you.

Daily Challenge Completed - 105 reps:

-35 Close Grip Shoulder Bar Presses (75 pounds)
-30 Bar Calf Raises (75 pounds)
-15 Shoulder Bar Presses (75 pounds)
-15 Bar Squats (75 pounds)
-10 Reverse Forearm Bar Curls (75 pounds)

Daily Assessment: I'm seeing really good commitment from the core crew. Obviously, some of you lift hard and heavy, so rest days are needed. The bottom line is that we're all setting a good example and attracting more interest. In another month, we'll all be in better health (the real win), and helping more people sign on to be guided to similar benefits. As for me, I'm pretty close to going back to the gym. I may have them take a picture of the computer screen to see if they can prove the last time I was there to actually lift.

Feedback from @mightpossibly:

"I'd also like to add that I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."

Please see my first post linked below for my motivation, the challenge background, rules, and details for the Steemit Silver Coin prize! It's also got some personal stuff about why I'm doing this, so it could be a good motivator.

Yesterdays' challenge - Failed miserably:
Got out of bed very late (around 12), feeling fresh as a clam. I figured I'd reward myself for all the hard work I'd put in lately, and besides, I was feeling particularly destructive this morning.

I went to... McDonalds for breakfast at (at around 1PM). After my tremendous breakfast, I went errand-running (at least 8 different shops). When I got home at around 5:30 PM, I was so exhausted that I passed out on the couch and slept like a rock until 10PM.

At this point, my stomach still felt like I'd eaten gravel, so I had nothing to do but stay still until I was sleepy enough to sleep again.

Not the most productive day, but at least I managed to complete my errands.

Hey, sometimes its good to have a day like that because you were clearly needing rest, but also that regret from how the McDonalds made you feel can help be a fresh new motivator to get back on track and work harder. That's definitely how I do it cause I've had more than my fair share of those days lol
