You Should NEVER Follow These 4 Popular Diet Myths!!

in #fitness7 years ago

Everywhere you go, people give out diet tips and advice for how to lose fat or build muscle. The porblem is that most of these advice are actually terrible and will not help you get to your goal any faster at all. Many Popular diet tips will do exactly the opposite of what they are supposed to do. In todays post I will cover up four of the most popular diet and meal plan tips that need to be buried right now!

Some of you think eating fats makes you fat. Well, that is not true at all. Eating fat, could make you fat if you eat in excess of your daily caloric maintenance levels just as eating too many carbs or protein can as well. Eating fat doesn't mean that it is going to be stored as body fat. In fact nutritional fats are a necessery part of a healthy diet plan, with fat making up a portion of the surrounding layer of nearly every cell in your body.

The next myth which is completely bs, is that eating after 6 PM is going to make you fat. Like I mentioned before, it really comes down to where you are at in your daily caloric intake in relation to your maintenance levels.  With that being said, it totally doesn't matter when you eat, but more how much you eat.

The following diet tip isn't necessery for everyone, but it still could be interesting. Many people say that you cant build muscle if you are vegan or vegetarian. Are they just hating or do they actually think that they are right? If you are vegetarian or vegan please dont let them talk you out of this. It is still possible for you to build as many muscle mass as anyone else. There are plenty of protein options available to those following a meat and dairy free meal plan. Quinoa, chick peas, hummus, protein powder (you can find vegan protein powder everywhere) and so on, will help you get adequate protein without having to follow a meat based eating plan. It also has been shown, the total amount of protein needed to build muscle vary from person to person and could be far less than what you may have been told.

Finally, the next mistake is the belief taking supplements and fat burners will get you ripped. If you refuse to take a serious diet plan, this isn't going to help you in any way. But you can get faster results by sticking to a decent diet plan, whilst adding nutrition supplements in your daily basis.

That is all I have to say for now. I hope this is helpful for you.
