Our First RASSPL competion for the 2017/18 season
We started early morning with a briefing at 4h30 am and lines in at 6h30 am . We had a slow start but was blessed with an amazing sun rise .
We changed our fishing spot as the water was very clear as the sun rose and we new nothing will happen in that water .
At our new spot we found some color in the water but was welcomed with loads of bamboo.
Bamboo makes it tricky to catch for as that bamboo gets on your line it takes forever to remove .
Out of a 105 competitors for the day 45 did not catch a fish we where fortunate enough to land a couple of species .
This is a baby shy shark with the nick name of a don-nut as they curl when the get out of the water ;-)
As you can see in my hand its very small .
This is a nice Galjoen that was caught by Wikus the best tasting fish in the ocean.
Ending the day of we did not do to bad we caught 4 species between us . On our way home we where blessed again with a beautiful sun set . Thank you for stopping by .
I love the two sun photos, I also love Galjoen, on what bait did you catch it?
Don't tell anybody crayfish :-)
