Fishing and USD inflation.

Caught a couple pomps ( local slang for florida pompano ) yesterday. They migrate thru my area as the water warms along with tourists.
A friend, posted a pic of the price of florida pompano couple days ago in a local fishing group. I was floored. 26$ USD a pound at a local grocery.
This time last year pompano was 18$ USD a pound.
Pompano is absolutely a awesome tastings fish and is going to command a high price, but to me 26$ a pound is crazy town and symptom of the decline of the U.S. dollar.
