A novel based on the life of Rohingya. Victimized by the military and local Buddhists, Rohingyan Muslim in Myanmar is one of the most persecuted souls in history.
They are denied an identity or a place to call home. Their rights to study, work, travel, marry and practice religion does not exist – they belong nowhere.
Their homes are burnt. Children were grabbed from running mothers and thrown into burning huts. Women are raped. Men are shot dead.
They are forced to migrate. They travel in search of peace.
Aisha is a Rohingya. Myanmar army took her husband. She is in trouble to save her two years old son from being thrown into the blazing huts, and her teenage sister from being gang-raped by the military and Buddhists locals.
They set out to cross the Andaman Sea because that is the only safest direction. Towards the roaring sea!
