My Shopping Activity For Today - Purchased Fish At a Local Market - Price Have Gone Up Due To Inflation
Hello everyone, it's nice to write to you today. I've been blogging about my business ventures and purchases from both traditional markets and urban stores. I made the decision to go shopping today for some groceries I had planned on purchasing beforehand and to post on Steemit.
The local market is a wonderful location to visit since there are many interesting items to view, both those that have just been invented and others that have been around for a while but you may not have known about. Going to the market today, I visited a lot of shops that offer various goods, but business is not moving as usual simply because of inflation and a lack of available money in the nation.
I started my tour of the market about 2:00 p.m. and noticed that most of the vendors were not operating properly in their shops once more. I was compelled to ask my one of the passerby, with whom I saw when I first enter the local market, what happened wrong because I've been away for a while and I didn't hear any news.
He informed me that the government had ordered all market vendors to vacate their existing locations simply so the market could be refurbished, and that each vendor would then be required to pay a fee to reclaim their space in the market following the reconstruction of the new market.
On a normal market day, a large number of people were anticipated to be in the market buying and selling a variety of goods and foodstuffs, but this time, there were only a few shoppers present, and it is clear from the sellers' faces that they are not motivated by the current state of affairs. However, there were numerous items to be purchased, but there was little money available, and there is significant inflation.
After a great deal of strolling around the market, I was able to purchase some fish, a picture of which is shown above which cost me 1500 naira that's around 15 STEEM. If you have money and know what you want to buy, shopping at the local market is the best deal as it's always enjoyable.
