UBS, the Swiss international investment bank, is facing a $387 million penalties from authorities in the United States and the United Kingdom for the alleged misbehaviour of its affiliate Credit Suisse. Credit Suisse botched transactions with Archegos Capital Management, a now-defunct hedge firm. As a result, the punishment was imposed.
