Ukraine turned out to be a global blockbuster leader.

Ukraine was included in the rating of 14 world leaders in the implementation of blockade technology, on which all crypto-currencies, including bitcoin, are based. This was announced by adviser on electronic government of Ukraine Konstantin Yarmolenko on his Facebook page. He referred to the presentation of the author of the book "The Revolution of the Blockbuster" by Don Tapscott.

According to Yarmolenko, the rating also includes the United States, China, Canada, Brazil, France, Israel and a number of other states. By what criteria the rating was drawn up, Yarmolenko did not specify.

In late October, Ukrainian media reported that Verkhovna Rada deputies are actively buying up the Crypto currency. Some of them managed to earn millions of dollars in electronic money.

October 11 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposed a bill on the legalization of the turnover of crypto-currencies in the country. State regulation of the digital money market is supposed to be entrusted to the National Bank of Ukraine.

On December 22, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on the legalization of bitcoins and other crypto-currencies. The decree does not imply any restrictions on operations for the creation, placement, storage, alienation, exchange of tokens, as well as the activities of crypto-exchanges and crypto platforms.
