After a great start of the week, I did gave back a lot of the profit I made.
The week started great with 3 wins out of 4 bets but after that I went downhill. Those bets were followed by 5 loosing bets in a row. Still a ROI of 7.98% was recorded. And a winning week, regardless how small is superb.

If I am honest, I maybe shouldn't have played the bet on Friday. A 2 fold parlay with only odds of 2.4. I did want to play it safe, protecting my profit which was a mistake. The bet never had a chance of turning into a winning bet.
On Saturday 3 parlays were played. One 2 folded with odds of 4.228 and 2 3 fold parlays with odds of 9.44 and 7.892.
The 2 fold was lost because Girona wasn't capable of stealing the 3 points away at Getafe. This was a risky one, so no problem with loosing them. The 3 fold with odds of 9.44 was a combo created by the oldest son and did fail because Tottenham couldn't win away at Wolves. The last one was with with evening games and maybe shouldn't have been placed. I should have accepted my first 2 losses bets. Also it never had a chance, with AC Milan loosing at Fiorentina and Standard and Westerlo didn't net more than 2 goals.

On Sunday, I took it easy and was doubting to place a bet or not. I did focus on the Jupiler Pro League and one of the games involved was maybe a bet with the heart instead of the mind. KRC Genk played the derby away at STVV and twice got the lead, but STVV did come back twice. I can say lot's of things about the story of the game and the draw was unnecessary from the viewpoint of a Genk fan. But due to a lack of chances of Genk, I can't say that the draw was undeserved for STVV. Too bad for me, both other predictions were spot on, but that doesn't count anymore if the first bet on the ticket was a loosing one.

So, maybe 2 bets I shouldn't have played on one side and on the other side, I was maybe too busy with protecting my profit which isn't a good mindset for a sports bettor. It is more or less the same as chasing losses. When placing a bet, absorb the information gained from the previous bets and lessons learned, but don't look at the profit or loss of the week!

so maybe after all it was a great betting week. With a profit made and lessons learned! With the start of a new week, there are again plenty of chances, I only need to see them and take them. Double check if the bet isn't too defensive and if I really want to play it!
