Amazon Cashback!

If you are like me, and buy mostly on Amazon, you have to consider Chase Amazon Rewards Credit Card.

Pros:
3% cashback on Amazon.com - for "Sold by Amazon" products. (5% if you are an Amazon prime member)
2% on Pharmacies - where else can you get 2% on your drugs?
$50 gift card from Amazon upon approval (sometimes)
No annual fee

Nice to have:
2% on gas and restaurants.

Cons:
Another card in your wallet.

Bottom line:
A must for Amazon regulars. I have it.

There is another option, Discover It card.
Discover offers changing categories cashback for 5%. These categories change every quarter. Usually the last 1 or 2 quarters is 5% cashback on Amazon.com and more. (For XMAS/Halloween)
During the heavy shopping seasons, instead of earning the regular 3% from the Amazon Rewards card, I use the Discover to get 5%. I also enjoy the other categories during the beginning of the year, so that's a plus...

Pros:
5% cashback on Amazon for 3-6 months - so far every year since I joined...
5% cashback on other categories.
A nice way to claim the cashback for cash, or discounted gift cards.
No annual fee.
No foreign transaction fee - when used abroad. It is usually accepted where Diners card is accepted.

Cons:
Discover is not widely accepted world wide.

Bottom line:
I got $125 cashback for applying, in the days. If you wait, you might get more, or you might get less.
