WHY IS BITCOIN DOWN AS WELL AS THE OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES
Hi,
So Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are down at the moment.
Could it be because of the discussions around the hard forking that might be in play from 1 August 2017?
I did read some information regarding this and apparently it there are some mixed feelings about this.
Well, I am not very tech savvy, but what I understand is that it happened previously as well, when more and more users started to become involved in Bitcoin.
It also happened with ETH a while a go, and they recovered nicely.
Obviously the hard fork will have an effect not just only with Bitcoin, but with all other currencies, but what I can understand is that the price will recover.
So, just hang in there and let's see what happens after 1 August 2017.
The fact remains, BITCOIN is and will remain the future (together with the up and coming crypto's out there)
P.S. Maybe it is time to buy some bitcoins at the lower price????

Thank you, will check it out.
It is not a hard-fork on August 1st, it is soft-fork. Huge difference! And what will happen is, we will get SegWit that effectively allows to double transactions per second. Price in this scenario? To the moon! ;)
