What are your expectations from Budget 2018?

With stock markets at all time high, everyone is thinking about investing in stocks or mutual funds as the sure shot way of making money. But, for average Joe, budget is still very important. It will impact the way financial health of each and every person in India.

So what are your expectations out of Budget 2018?
I would love to hear your views in the comments section.

From my end, I expect FM to announce the following :

• Significantly lower the tax burden on salaried employees
• GST is applied on everything, we should not be paying direct taxes, if indirect taxes are applied on everything
• How they are going to help the farmers and other unskilled labour class
• their stance on cryptocurrencies and taxation thereoff should be cleared
• Motivate people to innovate
