Movies

I love to watch movies, at the same time doing the homework or other necessary things.  I want to present you a list of my favorite movies (Probably, these materials are suitable only for women):

1.  Lolita is a 1997 American-French drama film directed by Adrian Lyne and written by Syephen Shiff. It is the second screen adaptation of Vladimir Nabokov's novel of the same name.

2. Amélie (also known as Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain;  The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain) is a 2001 French romantic comedy film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.  

3.  The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a 2011 Swedish-American psychological thriller film based on the novel of the same name by Stieg Larsson. This film adaptation was directed by David Fincher and written by Steven Zaillian.  

4. The Devil Wears Prada is a 2006 American comedy-drama film based on Lauren Weiberger's 2003 novel of the same name.  

5.  Bridget Jones's Diary is a 2001 British-American-French romantic comedy directed by Sharon Maguire and written by Richard Curtis, Andrew Davies, and Helen Fielding. It is based on Fielding's novel of the same name, which is a reinterpretation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudise. 

6.  The Handmaiden is a 2016 South Korean erotic psychological thriller film directed by Park Chan-wook and starring Kim Min-hee, Kim Tae-ri, Ha Jung-woo and Cho Jin-woong. It is inspired from the novel Fingersmith by Welsh writer Sarah Waters, with the setting changed from Victorian era Britain to Korea under Japanese colonial rule.  

7.  Memoirs of a Geisha is a 2005 American epic drama film based on the novel  Memoirs of a Geisha, produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment and Spyglass Entertainment and by Douglas Wick's Red Wagon Productions. Directed by Rob Marshall, the film was released in the United States on December 9, 2005 by Columbia Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures.

 8.  G.I. Jane is a 1997 American action film directed by Ridley Scott, produced by Largo Entertainment, Scott Free Productions and Caravan Pictures, distributed by Hollywood Pictures and starring Demi Moore, Viggo Mortensen and Anne Bancroft. 

9.  The Intouchables ( Untouchable) is a 2011 French buddy comedy-drama film directed by Olivier Nakache & Éric Toledano. It stars François Cluzet and Omar Sy.  

10.  Blue Is the Warmest Colour ( La Vie d'Adèle) is a 2013 French coming-of-age LGBT romantic drama film co-written, co-produced, and directed by Abdellatif Kechiche, and starring Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos.  

11.  Carol is a 2015  romantic period drama film directed by Todd Haynes. The screenplay, written by Phyllis Nagy, is based on the 1952 romance novel The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith (republished as Carol in 1990). 

12.  Dead Poets Society is a 1989 American drama film directed by Peter Weir, written by Tom Schulman, and starring Robin Williams. Set in 1959 at the fictional elite conservative Vermont boarding school Welton Academy, it tells the story of an English teacher who inspires his students through his teaching of poetry. 

13.  Freedom Writers is a 2007 drama film written and directed by Richard LaGravenese and starring Hilary Swank, Scott Glenn, Imelda Staunton. 

14.  Me Before You is a 2016 British-American romantic drama film directed by Thea Sharrock in her directional debut and adapted by English author Jojo Moyes from her 2012 novel of the same name.  

15. And let  Whiplash is a 2014 American drama film written and directed by Damien Chazelle. It depicts the relationship between an ambitious jazz student (Miles Teller) and an abusive instructor (J. K. Simmons). Paul Reiser and Melissa Benoist co-star.
