A short walk around Mendocino Lake
On one of the last warm days in November we took our cameras out to the nearest lake. This is the ‘swimmer’s dock’ on the sandy north beach.

The madrone tree? So gorgeous. Like something out of an illustrated children’s book.
Had a few shots left of HP5, so you can see the area in monochrome.
Once in awhile a boat will speed by and gift ripples all the way to the quiet edges of the lake.
