Evolution of deaths in movies - A brief history on how we kill people in movies
We all like to see people die don't we, in movies of coarse. One of the most empowering feeling is when the bad guy gets killed brutally. We've been watching people die since decades. And as hard as it may seem to agree, we all like to see people die in films. Movies like Final Destination and Saw were box office hits, because of the brutal merciless killing scenes.
In this post we'll look into how killing evolved in movies over time and also different types of deaths. From the classic to the contemporary we see deaths and killing everywhere. There are dozens of YouTube video compilation dedicated to the art of deaths in cinema. Watching deaths and killing in movies can be very addictive sometimes, there is a kind of a pleasure in watching it.

Very interesting post, you can sense your enthusiasm throughout. I'm quite glad there wasn't a philosophical, socially conscious side to this, like "why do we want to see people being killed in movies?" - It was nice to just think about the art of making deaths realistic in film!
Though sadly I do actually think we are being further desensitised to killing and blood and gore through games and movies, and more recently even music has become an avenue for violence. We are a bloodthirsty generation!
