The Meg's Latest Film Jason Statham
The Meg tells of the action of rescuing a group of people trapped on the seabed. In the film it is told that an international sea submarine was attacked by a large creature, which was previously considered extinct, and unfortunately it now lives in the deepest part of the Pacific ocean. For this rescue, diver Jonas Taylor (played by Jason Statham) was recruited by Chinese oceanographers (played by Winston Chao). Jonas was assigned to save the ship and a team trapped in the sea. Of all the challenges, the most dangerous threat that Jason must face is a 75-foot pre-historical shark known as Megalodon. One of the biggest and biggest predators of all time
Years before, Jonas had faced the same terrifying creature. Now, he collaborates with Suyin (played by Li BinBing) and must face his fears and risk his own life to save all those trapped under the sea. The director of this film, Jon Turteltaub, directed the film from a scenario written by Dean Georgaris, Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber, based on Steve Alten's best-selling New York Times novel. "The Meg was completed in China and New Zealand. This film is the result of the collaboration of Warner Bros. with Beijing Digital Impression (BDI) Film, Inc.," Warner Bros wrote on its official website.
Decades later Jonas's trauma increased, when a magnificent underwater facility needed his help. There are three people trapped there. Toshi (Masi Oka), The Wall (aflafur Darri afslafsson) and his ex-wife Lori (Jessica McNamee) who are trapped in "another life" under the sea. Jonas must inevitably have to face something difficult. Forgetting his past or helping his ex-wife who was trapped on a seabed. Unfortunately, Jonas's memory of a dark event of several years still made an impression. The rescue mission Jonas did was no longer limited to his friends. However, about his ex-wife, and an adorable boy who lives with his mother. Can Jonas get out of the trauma of his past, even though it's part of the story is action and orror, but the film The Meg has an interesting story to watch. Action chase between humans and a myth about giant fish that had been silent on the seabed was one of them.
However, what makes this film interesting is a simple storyline, transformed into extraordinary. Starting from the tense atmosphere that was built intensely. Even in the time lag, the director Jon Turteltaub, was able to make the story become "cool". Then "hit" again with tensions that seem to never end. Then, once in a while, the cast throws jokes that are ridiculous and then crashes again with the chase between humans and a terrible shark. There is still more, the insertion of the drama that is not excessive feels right in this film. The story is simple, and even makes sense given the monsters named Megalodon, ancient sharks that lived around 20 to 1.2 million years ago with big teeth, really existed in the past. Even in science, the way to fight with Megalodon is actually quite reasonable. Jason Statham doesn't need to be a superior figure to fight this wild animal. Everything will be brought to flow, until the audience feels, at one point the character played by Jason Statham will end. Jason Statham's acting feels right playing the character Jonas. His figure known as "slenge'an" with a British accent is still very strong in this film.
