Official Title of Han Solo Movie Announced(stars wars)
After a long untitled status, Han Solo movie finally has an official title.
On the sidelines of the announcement that the shooting of Han Solo has been completed, director Ron Howard ensured that the film is titled Solo: A Star Wars Story . Like Lucasfilm's initial plan, Solo will still be released May 25, 2018, although there was a constraint that colored the production process.
This obstacle is none other than the pullback of Phil Lord and Chris Miller's duo duo in June 2017 (exactly three weeks before the Solo shoot is scheduled to finish), where Lucasfilm reveals creative differences to be the reason Lord and Miller are to leave.
Rumors in circulation mention, since the shooting Solo began January 2017, Lord and Miller more emphasis on his players to improvise without fixated on the scenario. Seeing this duo technique that may not fit the studio's vision, Kathleen Kennedy as Lucasfilm's leader was worried, and reportedly this clash of vision led to months of wrangling. Eventually Kennedy decided to replace Lord and Miller, and not long ago, Howard was appointed as the new director. Howard himself is known through the Da Vinci Code franchise, A Beautiful Mind and Rush .
The story of Han Solo in the young, this film starring Aiden Ehrenreich (Han Solo), Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian) and Emilia Clarke. In addition to them, other players who participated in the show include Woody Harrelson (Han Solo mentor), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Being an Anthology series (spin-off) second only to Rogue One, Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released May 25, 2018.
