A billion views........fair play to you sir.
Thank you sir! What I discovered is that fans wanted to use our music to score their YouTube stories. That's where the power is...the people using their favorite IP assets to tell their story. One day that will be standard. You will license assets from your favorite properties like music, sfx, and graphics to incorporate into your art.
A true community....I like it :)
I think you're right about that.
You mention some great music. I'm slightly younger but I got into 60's music with a passion.
I got into The Beatles when I kept seeing this guy on the news who was murdered and I wondered who he was. That when I found out about John Lennon and the legendary group he was once a part of. I delved deep into their music for the next decade.
I love The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson's solo work. I'm a huge fan of The Guess Who and The Who. Oh, and I love The Monkees. Did you hear the album they released last year? It's called Good Times. My favourite songs on it are "Me and Magdalena" and "Birth of an Accidental Hipster". The whole album sounds like it was written in the 60s. You should check it out.
Welcome to DTube!
Thanks for stopping by. Killer handle. I'll check out your reviews. Lennon's killer = Voldemort!
Wow, I don't know that Monkess album. On that for sure with titles like that. I've been very fortunate. I recorded three albums at Sir George Martin's Air Studios. I worked the team that tracked his last session for "My Guitar Gentley Weeps" from the Love album. I met Sir George briefly and he was very kind. I'll post about that soon.
Keith Moon is the reason I got into playing music. The fuckin man! Thanks again for welcoming me to the fold. If you have any suggestions on favorite people to follow I'm all ears.
Wow, You've got some very cool music connections. Looking forward to the stories about Sir George.
Speaking of Keith Moon, have you seen that video on YT of him passing out in a concert and Roger Daltry had to ask someone from the crowd to come up and play drums? It's wild.
Also, I just found out that Animal from The Muppet is based on Keith Moon.
That's the classic Cow Palace show from the '73, Quadrophenia Tour. Legend has it he was offered and took a handful of pills and one of them was a horse/elephant tranquilizer. Bahaha!!! Moon the Loon. Animal is Keith. The piano player is Dr. John:)
