A film suitable for neo-realism
The documentary A Ciambra makes connections with Serbian film director Emir Kusturica's Time Of The Gypsies (Time of The Gypsies). Kusturica, taking the frame of the gypsies in the 1980s Yugoslavia, deals with the tragic issues and unhappiness of the gypsies who live in peace and joy.
Gypsies' love, disappointments and suffering are the key words of the film. It is also worth noting that the film is the first film to be filmed by Gypsies. Everything from characters from the small village in Yugoslavia to joining the criminal organization in Milan is explained in detail. Like them, Pio's frustrations and sorrows accent the white screen.

In general, we follow every detail of the Gypsies who do not disregard the traditions of the traditions, from the guards to the administrative system, from the protections to how they coexist in A Ciambra. Gypsies who never leave each other and who do everything in the process, and the hard talk of Italian policemen is not out of memory. The film, which does not have any identity with the Italian Gypsies who are normally called Cadegipti, Cingali, Cinguli, Zingari, Zingaro, frames the Roma community in Calabria and does this without agitating.

The film, which builds real events on gypsies that have never acted before, seems to hang a picture of a portrait of a culture where crime is the main source of income and formal education is not valuable. With the shift of realistic Italian cinema to Roberto Rossellini and neo-realism, we face a film like Ci A Ciambra Rober and the American dream we see in Hollywood films is transformed into an Italian dream. In the meantime, the film's producer, Martin Scorsese let's not go without specifying.
