I can relate to this. Winter, or seasonal depression built up over a number of years on me and I finally decided to quit the UK for the sunshine.
Four years away have helped me look at this season a touch differently, although I'd much rather not feel cold. A huge coat has certainly helped this time around and the negative thoughts have not been so bad.
You have some awesome surroundings to enjoy, so wrap up warm and go see :)

The mornings are already brighter and watching the frost steaming up off the grass this morning was a nice sight and a good start to the day :)
