In the Philippines, many "Networking" and "Ponzi structured programs" have utilized the name “bitcoin” and they took advantage of bitcoin’s reputation to attract new members. Some programs would require at least 50,000 pesos as initial investment. Most of them would allegedly claim to use the money to trade in the cryptocurrency market and the profit of that would go to the investors. This smells fishy for me and I doubt that these programs are sustainable and legit.

So in this post we will not talk about those legit and non-legit sites carrying and affiliating bitcoin in their names but I will be showing you an easy and wonderful way to start investing in bitcoin including the access to different services utilizing it without spending large amounts of fiat money. So with limited time, fate has allowed me to come up with a tiny guide titled "50 Pesos Bitcoin Start-Up Guide via Coins.ph".

I started my bitcoin journey 2 years ago when Bitcoin's value was only 44,000 pesos per bitcoin (compared to the current 400,000 pesos per bitcoin). That was back in 2015.
