The Queen Who Was King
No hair cushions the crown of my scalp. Instead, a feather headdress spreads its wings to conceal my baldness and declare me King. As I stroke my fake beard hairs, a Nubian says, “His Majesty Hatshepsu, we brought you a giraffe and some baboons.” I am a woman, also King.
Best of luck! Let the best story win!
