Sar'ee peered through the blinds, searching. She needed to see this beast, this thing of legend. Mar'kell watched the child with pity in his heart. Suddenly, eyes found hers. She shrieked! Then giggled. Only her reflection. Mar'kell knew better. Sar'ee had found her beast, she saw the last Human.
