50 word Story Contest Week #20 - Churn, Churn

Churn, churn, little friend,
Butter from cream, or meet your end.
The rats had it easy I tell you!
Tick, tack, fingers tap away,
Three and half walls, my cage in this zoo.
Keys, into code, into crap from pay,
When will cream become butter and end this rat race?

Thought back on Frank Abignail Sr.'s story of the two rats who fell in a bucket of cream from Catch Me If You Can. Great movie for those who haven't seen it!
