Nate waved off his friends with his usual cheery demeanor.
He was cold sober and acted from sheer Dielli privilege.
He was cuffed, booked, and severely disciplined before they’d found out his trust fund baby status.
He hadn’t known solitary confinement was real.
He had thought solitude was a myth.
