Fifty-Word Challenge: POP
Hi guys!
This time I come with an sad story for the #fiftywords challenge organized by @jayna. This is the last prompt, but soon come the next one.
POP
The bag of popcorn crackled, emitting a "pop, pop"; while nobody listened. Tom was sitting over the couch with open eyes and no pulse. He had a cardiac disease but he wanted to watch the best horror movie ever made. His heart stopped when the ghost popped in screen.

Oh my, what a story. And what a way to go. We can only hope it was a relatively swift and painless way to go! (I’m going to make sure I’m in good condition prior to watching scary movies from now on.)
