BRAZIL 1-2 BELGIUM: Neymar and all the golden boys beaten as Belgium beats Brazil

Belgium has done it again beating the favorites of the world cup by 2 goals to 1. Fernandinho own goal and Kevin De Bruyne stunning strike seals the victory for Belgium. Now, Belgium will head to the semi-finals where they will meet the new favorites of the world cup France. France comfortably beats Uruguay by 2 goals to nil from the goals of Varane and A.Griezmann to head to the semi-finals.

Now that Brazil and Uruguay are beaten, no South American country has remained in the world cup. Now there only remains all 6 European countries to battle for the world cup title. Now, its more like European championship than Fifa world cup.

With the defeat of Brazil, another golden boy Neymar is out of the world cup. First Messi, then Ronaldo and now Neymar, this world cup is full of unpredictable results as we can see more as England, Sewden, Croatia or the host Russia, one of these four will definitely reach the finals. None of them has reached the final for 50 years since England had won the 1966 world cup.
Most interesting battle to watch in the final is Belgium against Croatia as both had never won and reached the world cup ever. Both Croatia and Belgium are in top form and both wants to win the world cup for the first time.

While this world cup is disappointment for most of the powerhouses in the football world as first Germany knocked out in the group stages, Spain, Argentina and Portugal knocked out in the Round of 16 and now Uruguay and Brazil are heading home. Maaybe, there will be more to come as anything can happen in this world cup.
