Who will be crowned champions come June at the FIFA World Cup in Russia?
For football lovers like me, it is roughly 25days to the FIFA world cup in Russia 2018. A quick review of the past winners will keep us abreast for the biggest and most anticipated sport tournament in the world.

1954: West Germany
1958: Brazil
1962: Brazil

1970: Brazil
1974: West Germany
1978: Argentina
1982: Italy
1986: Argentina
1990: West Germany
1994: Brazil
1998: France

2018: ?????
These teams have come out top winners and all aside Italy will also be in action in Russia.
The 31 countries who will join hosts in Russia next summer are in no particular order as follows: Five-time winners Brazil are there, as are defending champions Germany, plus Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Iceland, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Uruguay and Russia(the host). So many questions have been asked of who the winner could be. Maybe an African country will win it for the first time or the five-times winner(Brazil) or the defending champions(Germany) or the European champions(Portugal). But one thing is for sure, it is going to be an entertaining tournament and one that will be a major decider of what happens in the football world. Our fingers are crossed in eagerness and anticipation of the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
