Thrilling story, the development is good. Starting from the middle to the beginning,then to the end. You did a good job.

I have reservations though on the ending, it's just my opinion though, you can discard it, lol.

I think that the last paragraph was to expository, leaving an air of mystery as to why he killed her would have been better in my view, I do think many of us would have definitely come to the serial killer conclusion.
