There's this one time...
It crosses my mind...
How is it that two people can feel so close despite being over 4,000 miles apart?
How is it that the sensation of being beside one another feels so intensely real?
There is no scientific explanation for that...
But in a poet’s point of view...
Maybe it’s the heart’s way of saying "Take care always...I’m just here"
While she had slept I’d written her a story...
The words came effortlessly...
As if she was placing them in my mind as fast as I could write....
I am accustomed to being nervous...
When sharing my writing with people for the first time in my life...
But this was a whole new level of anxiousness...
I needn’t have been afraid I know... but as we’ve covered before...
I am just a tad bit insecure...
Though we are apart far away...
You allow my heart to seek you out...
In its blossoming love bouquet...
I feel my life becoming a dream with each moment we spend anew...
Whether you be with me or afar....
I know live in a Vision I call You!
So till we be together in life...
Take this heart of mine and loyalty that i offer...
And those picture memories i send you...
Look within you to find me there...
Setting our joined spirits alight...

Its impossible to describe how much those four words meant to me...
We spent hours talking and laughing...
Feeling the distance utterly vanish....
With each new thing I was learning about you....
I felt myself fall more and more in love with you...
And it feels right....
It felt as if all the walls I had put up around my heart...
Were being burned away...
Replaced by your hands cupped around it...
All my insecurities...
All my shames...
All my guilt over days long past...
She swept them aside effortlessly...
And all this was before i see your face...
Heard your voice for the first time...
Happiest day of my life...
