Where to go from here
To those who showed support for my initial post, I express sincere thanks. Now, all I have to do is come up with material! Easy, right?
Well, I have a few ideas that I have been running with recently, and I wanted to spell them out here, to give potential readers an idea of what to expect. Specifically, I have four projects in mind:
The Kia Chronicles (working title), an experiment in bronze-age high fantasy - in other words, high fantasy with motifs drawn from bronze age cultures such as Assyrian, Egyptian, Canaanite, early Greek, etc., but reworked slightly to fit into a fantasy alternative Earth setting.
Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell (working title), a dystopian alternative history/science-fiction fusion showcasing a very different American continent than the one we know.
Esperanto translations - either or both of the above I might translate into Esperanto at a later time, though I am going to concern myself with writing them in English first. What I would like to work on translating, however, are texts of classical philosophy which, to my knowledge, have not been rendered in Esperanto before. Mostly I have in mind the Stoic philosophers (Epictetus and the like), though some classical fiction (Illiad, Odyssey, Aeneid, etc.) would not be unthinkable either.
Poetry - As cliche as it may be, I love writing poetry. Mostly rhymed quatrains just expressing thoughts or observations, but I enjoy using other more complex rhyme and meter schemes like the Sonnet. These will be posted here as well.
Now that I finish writing all this out, it seems slightly more daunting than I initially thought it would. But little by little, chapter by chapter, I intend on building up books for eventual print and publication. Hopefully, using this system first, I can get some feedback on the things I post so that I will be able to improve on them.
Thanks again, guys, and I appreciate your support so far!

I missed your first post. But hi and welcome to steemit. I love to read and can't wait for the items you listed above. If you're interested in writing fiction, you might consider coming to find us at the MSP fiction workshop. With their help, support and encouragement I've written some short stories I'm actually quite proud of. ;-) Can't wait for those stories of yours.
