I'm glad that you decided to do a more hopeful story. Perhaps it's not very realistic - perhaps in these dark times Johann would have gone through with it and then killed himself. But I do think that if there are those who are brave enough to step forward and force themselves into people's lives like this girl did, things would be different.
We are in such a private society that we could be surrounded by people and still feel alone. In the end, humans are not meant to be alone.
Good insight! I tend to think scenarios happen like this a lot. Most times nothing comes of them, but it only takes a little nudge to push someone one way or the other.
