The "Last Lie" is a recurring trend and well-known trait in the Amalgam universe. Yet, I haven't yet read a story where the "Last Lie" has come true. It seems that our human protagonists always manage to cheat death.
That being said, I think it would be interesting to see a (or a group of) Havenworlder(s) discovering what the Last Lie is the hard way. As well as the subsequent fallout of their human's final actions.

Humans are not unkillable. They know this. They know their vulnerabilities. They also allow others to assume that they don't have that many. This has lead to the Last Lie, and so many other cogniscents learning that it was the Last Lie the hard way.
Case 23J-756: There was nothing left of Human Sem. There was also nothing left of the Vorax fleet, half the asteroid belt, and the Fleet Acquirer, the ship the rest of the crew had fled on Human Sem's insistence. The Fleet Acquirer, the Vorax fleet, a healthy percentage of the asteroids, and Human Sem had been vaporised. What little remained was a cloud of atoms, at best.
The crew who had bonded with Human Sem returned to the area, looking for traces of Sem. Where they had gone, what had happened to them, and why they had not caught up as they had said. Scanners found the scant evidence, tracing it all back to a devastating explosion that wiped out everything, including Human Sem.
"They said they'd catch up," said Companion Gruckz. "Why didn't they catch up?"
The former crew of the Fleet Acquirer took some weeks, scouring the system, to figure out that their Human had lied in order to preserve all relevant lives but their own.
Case 34F-G2H: The entire city was a burned ruin. The enemy that had threatened their lives was certainly eradicated, as their carbonised remains could testify. Human Cyr was also eradicated. Their carbonised remains were in the exact centre of the city, the hand that had set off the devastation bomb missing up to the shoulder.
Nevertheless, Human Cyr must have thought this sacrifice was worth hir life. Their carbon-cast face was frozen in one last expression.
Human Cyr had died... smiling.
Case 3Y4-590: The Vorax hadn't left much of the Human. They hadn't left much of anything. Human Drii had apparently gone down fighting, as evidenced by the scorch marks on the walls, the holes in the bulkheads, and bits and pieces of Vorax in obscure areas. As the evidence came to light, there was more and more doubt about whether or not it was the Vorax who had left so little of Human Drii.
Since there was no Vorax raider in the area, they could safely assume that Human Drii had left the Vorax something to think about as the remaining force fled.
Case 7T4-9Y8: They found the lifepod weeks after the devastation. Human Lun was within, but... he was not alive any more. He had, according to the security feed, been barely able to enter and launch. He perished where he collapsed, lasting only for a handful of breaths after launch.
His last words, "Sorry, lovies... I tried..."
Humans die more often after they have uttered the Last Lie. They are willing to lay their lives on the line for their packmates. The knowledge must be shared. Humans pay far too much for the lives around them. Those who have been welcomed into their packs knows that that is too high a price to pay.
