HORRIFIC WEDNESDAY NIGHT WITH A BLACK WOLF

in #fiction7 years ago (edited)

It was a Wednesday evening, I got home quite early from work. I was so tired and tipsy because I had champagne at work.

I went straight to bed, fell flat with my arms far apart like I wanted to fly. I was far asleep until I heard a loud thud followed by a screeching sound. It sounded like an axe was dragged on the bare floor. I quickly opened my eyes. I wanted to move but I couldn't, it was like a ghost or someone was pressing me on the bed.

The screeching got louder which meant, whoever or whatsoever was in the house was coming closer to my room. Why would someone want to kill me with an axe? It should probably be a dream but my eyes were wide opened.

I wanted to cry for help but I couldn't. Sweat came down my face profusely. There was an awkward silence except my loud thought and the clock tickling. The door opened slowly and a black wolf was there.

How did it get inside? Why will a wolf kill me in my own house? Different questions flooded my mind. It stared at my lifeless body before it made a move. It ran and jumped on the bed. I wanted to struggle or kick it or run but I was helpless. It smelled my feet then approached my face. It was looking so hungry and insatiable.

It opened it's mouth like it was time to devour me, I closed my eyes firmly and accepted my fate. My heart raced very fast like a Bugatti. I felt a wet lick all over my face and immediately, I jerked back to life. It was just my dog, Diddy, welcoming back home.

My sheet was extremely wet from my sweat. I carried my dog and we went to the living room. I stayed awake all through the night, it was an horrific Wednesday night.
