Good post. Well written and readable.

The hardest thing for me is getting inside the reader's head, to calculate what might grab them and interest them. It's because I'm such a weirdo. The things that interest me aren't interesting to most people and vice versa. That is the hardest part of writing, for me because what inspires me to write isn't particularly attractive to others it seems. I'm sure my readers must be out there somewhere, but I can't seem to hook them up. Any ideas on how to overcome this dilemma?

Hi @citizenzero, I saw you around TWB the other day. Great to see you there. That's a real dilemma. I think the advice to keep one particular reader in mind is still good advice, but also to write what you enjoy. I think when I force it it usually shows.

Guess I'll just keep writing for weirdos, then. :). Should be enough of them around to keep me afloat. Guess I'll find out.
