RE: Food Fight Friday - No Strings Attached
I'm sure you'll enjoy the peppery egg, it's a great combo.
Peter's artwork is beautiful, his wife needs to add a lot more to his page. As far as the wood he used in this piece, the body is stinkwood, the neck imbuia and tamboti and the base is also imbuia (Brazilian walnut).
We've been blessed with a number of his work, some which I've shared from time to time in posts.
Thank you so much for the nice comments @thebigsweed!
I have heard of stinkwood and Brazilian walnut, but have never heard of the other two types of wood.
He is truly an artist. Being a woodworker myself, I have a real appreciation for his work. Here is a live edge table I recently finished. The top is from Black Oak and the base is a piece of Black Cherry crouch wood.
This is a lovely piece of furniture, you're a real craftsman yourself, sure to become an heirloom! Thanks for sharing, I have only seen your #fff posts, do you share your work here as well? Wood is just a beautiful medium! Tamboti is a local wood, I they also make jewellery boxes with that.

Good morning, yes I do put all different posts out there. A lot of homesteading blogs and different projects that I have made from wood. Here is a garden ornament that I made from a stump and root-ball from a tree that had blown down last year.
It's great to see the beauty in something someone else would have just discarded, it's a lovely garden feature! You're also an artist then;)
