A Chinese centenarian has received 100 imported gifts from her 162 offspring as Spring Festival greetings.
Tian Jinyu, born in 1917, who lives in Enshi, central China's Hubei province, has seven children and five generations of family. She has a total of 162 descendants, the oldest of whom is 81.
"She has never had anything imported and never been abroad, so we want her to try something new and different," her grandson said.
Tian's family have ordered a range of imported food including wafer biscuits from Poland, and lollipops and wine from France that are piling up to cover the whole table.
