The Queen City of the South are celebrating today the fiesta of Snr. Sto Niño.
The only Philippines Festival that acknowledged by Vatican Church and its always happen every 3rd week of January.

It is tradition that every fiesta their is always Sinulog Dance. And they make it a contest thats why every contingent make their best to win and it also has a consolation price. They make colorful costume and unique props. Every group their is one dancer that bringing the statue of Sto. Niño.. Different themes every group.


In fiesta there is always be a party, like Concert, live band and etc.
Some malls and hotels are having fireworks at the night. Some celebrates are joined the Sinulog Festival they going to ride in the float and waving their hands to their fans.
But if you will go there you have to keep long patience because you will encounter a lot of people and heavy traffics. You have to be watchful. Keep you things safe you have to check your things time to time.

Sinulog is fun, devotion and tradition to most cebuanos. But not just that, some foreigners are intended to come just to join and experience Sinulog Festival.
