Why Do I Keep Getting Ignored By The Steemcurator Teams(04-09)?
It's been 6 weeks that I started my journey of Community curation and for the past 1.5 months I have been curating the #steemgrowth theme. It is a good experience to be honest as I have got to learn somethings, interacted with a lot more users and received a lot of negative remarks as well...
A lot of people keep on complaining about not getting enough support from the community curation accounts and it gets rough sometimes to cater to all of their complains seperately. So here I am, and in this post I'll be addressing a few of the complaints that are the most common:
- Why am I not getting curated?
- even though I wrote a quality post, I still didn't get a vote
- The curation team is biased.
- what more do I need to do in order to get a vote?
So these are the most common questions and in this post, I'll hopefully be able to cater to all of you collectively.
If you're not using the right tags, there's no way in the world that I am going to curate you. I'll talk about myself personally and not anyone else. I curate the tags #steemgrowth and #contest so if you're not using these tags, then no matter whatever you're writing won't reach me. There's a thing that I notice a lot. There are some users who use the #club100 #club75 #club5050 #country #steemexclusive tags and not the tags that they should be using.
There are two ways, I curate posts under my tags.
steemit.com/created/steemgrowth
This helps me in reading posts which have been created recently using the tag
steemit.com/trending/steemgrowth
This helps me in reading posts that are on the top of the list under this tag. Ofcourse the posts on top have already been curated, so I scroll down the page and check posts which are not curated.
It has been made absolutely clear by me in the past as well that if your posts have less than 300 words then no matter what, you won't be getting curated. I hope the community leaders are reading this section carefully as its them I ignore the most. It's the community accounts that I notice on my day of curation posting blogs with words less than 300 words. Other than that, there are still a lot of users who don't follow this 300+ words rule. If your posts do not have more than 300 words, it won't be curated.
If you're not in any of the clubs, you wont get a vote from me. I check the club status of each user from:
So, if you think you can get away by abusing the clubs tag, not only will I not curate your posts, I'll probably ignore your posts for the upcoming weeks as well. So make sure you're in a club and you're not abusing the tags.
Say goodbye to your chance of getting curated if you're posting Plagiarized content. My team is absolutely strict in this matter and we will NOT curate plagiarized content. We respect Proof of Brain.
Bidbots is a big NO on steemit. We check for your votes and if there's any Bid-Bots on it, we scroll away. So make sure you're not into that
At last I check the comments on the post. If there are no comments then your post will not be curated. I promote engagement more than anything and that is the reason why I have strictly guided my team members to not curate on posts without comments even after 10-12 hours of posting.
But, don't worry. Any post that is skipped while curating due to no comments is sent directly in our discord group called the #skipped-posts. Here, the team member allotted for the next day will check this post first. If it has recieved a comment and fills all the criterias, it'll be curated. But, if your post still has no comments even after a day or two then I am sorry to inform you, you will not be curated on THAT post.
After checking all the above mentioned criteria, I read the post with full concentration as I believe its the users' right to be vote if the post is following all the criterias and is also written well.
But, even if you're following the criterias and writing gibberish in your post, your post will not be curated. So be unique and be good.
I hope all the questions have been answered in this post. You can be your own judge and see where you're going wrong.
Soon, I'll share a few thoughts about the Curatorship and the teams responsible for it as well.
Thank you.
This is very informative, we can find out some mistakes we made in our posts
But some people obviously use some opportunity to multiply profits, they delete then post it again.
Hopefully we can always try to write every post exclusively.
Wish you always lucky..

Abusing this platform is like an infection. If its not treated in time, it'll spread and corrupt the whole body. We are doing our very best to fight it.
Thank you for your well wishes
You are welcome..

Interesting post. These are details to be taken into account to be supported. 🤗
Thank you crismenia
This is a great post, on the aspect of tags. Many don't still get the point why it always mentions the first five tags. Some steemians will fit in irrelevant tags and end up with the important tag. This will make it difficult to get their post even with the right tags. Tag position matters in post ranking during a search.
True. There are a lot of useless tags in first five sometimes
This post is really very helpful.Thank you for comming up with this ...
At first, I got confused with tags, until a detailed post was released in the community, it’s hard to search in the rules without knowing what you are looking for, and the explanations in the communities are very helpful
