My Entry for Steemph.Antipolo Featuring-Antipolo Food an delicacies

This is my first entry for featuring-Antipolo food and delicacies..

A trip to Antipolo will not be completed without buying any pasalubong. Antipolo is not just the Pilgrimage Capital of the Philippines but also the home of some of the delightful delicacies.

Possibly one of the trademarks of Antipolo, our famous “kakanin” (Filipino delicacies) and one of the most popular here is “suman”. Interestingly, the production of suman actually originated in Cainta (another town in Rizal) but it gained popularity in Antipolo. Suman of Antipolo is basically made from the "Glutinous rice" and "coconut milk" and wrapped in so-called “kampil” while others are calling it as “ibos”, thus is often.

This suman is not usually found in wet markets or sidewalks many years ago and the only place where it is abundant is in Antipolo. But now a days there are lots of vendor selling this kakanin.

Since there are no sugar or any sweeteners added to this suman, you have to dip it on sugar or coco jam to enjoy it. And it is best serve with a cup of hot chocolate drink, but for me it's better to pair with cocojam and the taste is really good
so what are you waiting for..
Lets go to Antipolo and taste the famous "SUMAN sa IBOS".
