Feathered Friday - Yellow Rumped Warbler

Caught a few shots of this yellow rumped warbler snacking on berries.

Your bonus squirrel made me laugh! Good job getting the shots of the warbler. They often stay so high up in the trees that it's hard to take pictures of them.

I have lots of bonus squirrel shots especially when the birds aren't out.

LOVE these photos of beautiful warbler with berries. Took a much needed nature meditative break. Thank you. Sharing....

I find these guys early in the morning near evergreens all other parts of the day they are pretty shy.

you're a yellow rumped warbler :) Zing! what a great name LOL

Pretty descriptive name for a bird with yellow feathers on its butt.

I love these photos! Beautiful bird. I have trouble capturing smaller birds like this, they're usually too fast for me! Voted & resteemed :-)

Fortunately this one was to concerned with pigging out to care about me sneaking up with the camera. And it decided to be on the right side of the sun too.

How sweet photos, love them. 😊 You are so good photographer, your photos are great, I'm delighted! It's esspecially interesting we can see every detail on this photo, because of your camera lens, so proffessional from you.
I'm waiting for new photos. Thank you for sharing. Wish you all luck. :)

Thanks this was shot with a cheap olympus dslr and a zukio zoom lens. Lighting conditions were just right in these photos.

Great shots mate! I usually have Blue Tits, Robins, Starlings and WoodPigeons, but the Magpie is my favourite. An adult and junior Magpie show up everyday at about 5:30 a.m. and start singing! More like a multitude of learned sounds like machines and other birds! Lol!

I have ravens and crows around here that are sort of like magpies but not as hilarious of a personality.

You have some beautiful 'action' shots! I haven't even seen birds eating like this and you even managed to take such stunning photos. Well done! It looks like it is having a feast. I love berries too, so I totally can relate :)

And that squirrel looks kind of afraid that the bird will eat all the berries :D CUTE!

Thank you for sharing and have a lovely weekend!

The best time for birding photography is while they are eating.

Do you have backyard feeders?

No but i have access to lots of forest preserves. Evergreens in the preserves have the most bird activity.

IL does have the best forest preserves! I grew up in Northern IL and was surprised when I moved here that Wisconsin didn't have forest preserves!

There's a few near devils lake but they are definitely more spread out over the state than in illinois.

Great State Parks, but not many county parks. At least not as many as IL has!
