Wow, what a great shot! I really love owls, this is awesome! Love the ripple effect too :-) Thank you for sharing with Feathered Friday! Voted & resteemed

Thank you so much @keithboone! :-)
This owl hung around last summer
and fall on that branch near the house
quite often. He got use to me opening
the slider door and sticking my lens
out over time lol
Seen him a few times over winter, but
it was just fast flybys. We have noticed
the neighbors rooster isn't crowing
anymore.

Haha! Stupid rooster... :-)

Cool shot and edits owls always look so regal, or perhaps like a judge watching over us

Thank you very much @tattoodjay! :-)

'Who Goes There' he says lol

Quite a few owl symbols over the ages
adorning many things. Those owl eyes
watching over it all. Oh my those 👀 eyes!

Ohh yes its their eyes that are the most striking for sure

So cool to see an owl, let alone to get a picture :-)

Totally! This one is a local around this
neighborhood. Have to watch small
critters don't get out. Eagles to will
take small dogs out of people's arms!

This owl got use to me opening the
slider door and sticking the lens out
for some snaps, he was about maybe
30 feet away! :-)

Great shot @shasta
I was just telling @annephilbrick that I have seen
so many owls but have never gotten a shot...Good Job!!

Thank you so much @karbon! :-)
This owl sat more still than the magpies!
For some reason those mags take off as
soon as they hear a pin drop or a change
in the way the windows reflect me and
my camera coming to get them lol

What kinds of owls have you seen?
So far we have seen just this type.

That was good for you, not many are posers...lol
I have seen great greys, barred, and snowy owls.

Great pix hard to get them, good job

Thank you very much @farm-mom! :-)
Was surprised to see him so often during
the daylight hours and so close.

Wow! I'm so envious! I have never had an opportunity for an owl photo. That is a superb photo, the color of the leaves add even more beauty and I always love your edits! !Tip

Thank you so much @melinda010100! :-)
It was very shocking and I clicked a lot lol
Tho most the photos of him look the same
sitting on the same branch !

Did you see your message posted 3 times
and 3 tips!!??

Howdy there shasta! Did that owl really land close to your house? That thing looks so cool. Did it stay for awhile?

Evening @janton! mr owl was right beside the house in
a birch tree about 30 feet away! He hung around for a
few months on and off. Every now and then I see him! :-)

howdy today shasta! oh that is super cool! He probably helps keep any critters away. I don't know if you have mice up there in the summer time but if you do he probably takes care of them for you.

Morning @janton, we do have mice, voles they are
called. Small fast long nosed looking critters.
We must of been talking about mr owl to much, I heard
him this morning before dawn hooting lol
