It's an old thing we call vote farming. It's not beneficial. It's like the flip side of the coin of vote selling. @Rodrigosantana would do better for the blockchain to hold SBD faucet type contests like @sydesjokes that at least promote value in comments.

These type of posts like this are not value-adding. They just drain the reward pool from actual content creators that do. There are quite a few running these operations. We actually ran a downvote campaign against them a while back. Probably, need to revisit that unfortunately as we were unable to stop that.

People love "free" things but this is not free. If more minnows/plankton upvoted each other for quality content, they would grow faster than through this racket.

Note: It looks like @rodrigosantana77 has moved on to better things. Commendable.
